Leslie Hoggatt

Leslie joined WBHM in October 2008 as the new Membership Manager. She works with the dedicated members of WBHM.

A native of Indiana but a Southerner at heart, Leslie grew up visiting her grandparents in Alabama. She received degrees in Arts Administration and Flute Performance from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana (Go Bulldogs!). A diehard classical music lover, Leslie has worked for the Brevard Music Center, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and the Alabama Symphony Orchestra. She is a member of Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity. Public Radio has always been a part of her life and a backdrop to many a family vacation. (She has experienced many a "Drive-way Moment").

When not working, Leslie loves reading great books, especially Jane Austen novels, baking treats for family and friends and scouring through antique malls for vintage kitsch. She also loves traveling and has a mile-long list of places to visit, her top destination being Scotland. A self proclaimed Anglophile, you can always find her drinking a cup of tea and watching British comedy on Saturday evenings.
