Join 90.3 WBHM and 91.5 WSGN, as we present a two part special commemorating Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur -- Birthday of the World: Music and Traditions of The High Holy Days.

Part 1, Rosh Hashanah airs Thursday, September 25h at 7:00 p.m.
Part 2, Yom Kippur airs Monday, October 6th at 7:00 p.m.

Birthday of the World presents some of the most inspiring music in the Jewish liturgical tradition performed by the acclaimed vocal ensemble The Western Wind.

Leonard NimoyNarrated by Leonard Nimoy, the program focuses on the universal themes of redemption and divine forgiveness.

You'll also hear ancient chants and folk melodies. And four guest cantors along with several noted singers will join The Western Wind for the performances. Established in 1969, The Western Wind has performed in concert halls throughout the United States, Europe and Asia.
