The 2012 Alabama legislative session is kicking off and lawmakers have a full agenda. A slow economy means budgets will be tight. Republicans promise to tackle job creation and education. Democrats will look to have their issues heard in their second year as a minority party. It's a lot to keep tabs on. Each Wednesday we hear an update on political happenings in Birmingham and Jefferson County from the Second Front's Kyle Whitmire.
